ETOWAH RIVER ECO TOURS

Picture

Looking to enjoy a quiet trip while enjoying the sounds of nature and moving water?  Do you want to avoid the mobs of tubers floating down the river?  Georgia Kayak Adventures Eco-Tour is designed for you!

Our Eco-Tours are designed for small groups, our adventures rarely have more than eight people.  When you experience a Georgia Kayak Adventures Eco-Tour, you will float down a quiet, 10 mile stretch of the Etowah River. The river is rich with bio-diversity.  Your guide will tell you a little about the river eco-system, and allow you to experience and explore the river on your own.  Guides will show you how to paddle your chosen craft and teach you kayaking and canoeing techniques for moving water.  The Georgia Kayak Adventure Eco-Tour is not only a great trip to view wildlife and experience the river but its a great way to learn to paddle on moving water as well.

The Etowah river is home to 75 native fish species including Etowah, Amber and Cherokee Darter.  The Etowah and Cherokee Darters are found nowhere else in the world.

Eco-Tours are available on the Lower Etowah River and the Tallapoosa River.

Guided Tour length  is 3.5-4.5 hours Cost  $99 each  Minimum Two
Weekday Tours are scheduled around water release on the Etowah River.  Weekday trips normally have to leave by 9 am due to water release.

What To Expect

We seek out the best sections of the river to give you the best on water experience.  Because of this our trips do require some physical exertion.  Your guide will be there to assist you every step of the way.  Expect to improve your paddling skills as well as having a unique kayaking experience.

Because of the small group size start times may vary, we try to get on the water no later that noon.  Trip departs from different locations on the lower section of the Etowah near Cartersville Ga.  Address and ramp location will be provided upon reservation.
