Evan
The rivers have always held a special place in my heart; interwoven in my DNA like thread into fabric. I grew up wading and fishing some of the most pristine flows in Northeast Alabama. When the kayak fishing movement began to take hold, I quickly jumped on board as a natural manifestation of my river fishing obsession. The journey has taken me into the bloggesphere, the kayak tournament fishing scene, and pro staff appointments for Jackson Kayaks and Dobyns Rods. There is something truly special about paddling and fishing small flows; clean, pristine flowing water over mossy, rounded rocks tucked in between slick, weeded, or rock bluff banks. Shallow, rocky shoals and limited access render many of these hidden treasures virtually inaccessible to all except kayak fishermen.

Stewart (South Carolina/North Carolina
Growing up as the son of a competitive bass angler Stewart spent more time on a boat than the playground. From a very young age he found the allure of fishing irresistible, and has spent many years pursuing trophy fish throughout the Southeastern Unites States. While attending college in the North Carolina mountains he discovered kayak fishing. The simple, yet technical, mindset of kayak fishing was a perfect match for a borderline obsessed fisherman. Searching for something that would test his drive and determination as an angler he took to the river. The allure of pure, remote, waters that course through the heart of the country seem to be the only medication for this mans chronic case of angling adventure. When not bound by the confines of civilization he is without fail hunting the narrow depths in search of fish with aggressive tendencies and ill advised appetites. For Stewart river fishing is not a hobby, its a way of life...
